Have you got experience with Reformer but not with us?

So you have experienced the magic of reformer Pilates already but you still need to know what we have on offer. Read below to find out more about our studio, our style of classes and how to get started.

 

Why Reformer at The Fit Collective

You might know a bit about the origins of Pilates and how it feels, and if you have been to several studios, you might already know that reformer Pilates classes can vary greatly in style, intensity and the way in which they are taught.

The best way to get to know our brand of reformer Pilates is to come and give it a try of course but let us give you a bit of a flavour here.

Our aim is always that you go away feeling amazing, settled, accomplished and at peace.  Every aspect of your experience is considered to achieve this balance from the beautiful studio that becomes your sanctuary to the carefully curated classes and the careful attention to each individual.

We combine modern exercise science with Pilates principles in a fusion of both contemporary and classical styles. Respecting the beauty of Pilates, we use strength training principles to help build stronger bodies. With careful guidance to develop your form you will find we support you to move intuitively whilst offering gentle nudges to get the most of your workouts.  Expect a mix of challenge and chill in all our classes, so you leave feeling energised, spent, but relaxed.

We get to know you, and as we do, we learn what’s important to you. You should always feel you can come along no matter how you are feeling that day and get exactly what you need from your workout.

We don’t have a night club vibe (although we have some great sounds to compliment your workout) and we don’t feel like a clinical studio (but are trained Pilates therapists and will notice your movement and help you improve it). We are also not a HIIT studio (although some of our classes can elevate your heart rate a fair bit) and our classes don’t insist you wait around a lot for instructions before you start each move.  So, what are we? We offer Dynamic reformer Pilates, informed by science for the best possible results, adaptive to your needs with a strong focus on form and the development of your holistic fitness and well-being.

Which class should I choose?

This is always a hard one to answer as we don’t know you yet.  One person’s ability after doing 10 classes can far outweigh another’s with 50 classes under their belt.

If in doubt come to a foundations class for your first one, get to know the reformer (if you haven’t yet used Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers), the jargon we use and how things work at our studio. We will see if you need a little more challenge and if you still want more, just let us know!

For safety reasons, please do not attend a jump board class or fire class if you have not attended classes with us before, and if you would like to attend one of these after you start, let us know so we can advise on readiness.

How do I get started?

Step 1 – Go HERE to check out our introductory pack options to get started. Here you can also check out our monthly memberships which yo can move onto after your introductory offer has ended.

Step 3 – Book onto your chosen class via our TEAM UP membership system

Monthly Memberships

Can commit to a regular amount of classes per month? These memberships have a 3 month minimum term and then you can cancel or freeze with 30 days notice.  All monthly memberships have the added bonus of being able to take a recurring booking to your favourite classes so you can come at the same time each week if you like (optional) without the fuss of having to book, so it’s all done for you in advance. You can choose the amount of sessions you do each month (see the options below) and all sessions must be carried out within the month.

Passes & Packs

Not ready to commit to a membership?  Need more flexibility where you can attend more sporadically than a membership allows? Consider our single session credits or packs.

If you can attend any time and want the full 50 min experience then our 50 minute credits or packs are your best option. If you are looking to train at lunch time with shorter sessions, our 40 minute express credits or packs are more suitable for you.
