What is PPT?

Most of us know how hard it can be keeping up habits that are good for our health. All too often we start with good intention, but somewhere along the way we lose momentum or focus and find ourselves back where we started.

Enter Personal Private Training (PPT), our amazing new training concept that combines personal training with your very own private training space for your workouts. Typically you will see your personal trainer once per month to review and reflect upon progress and next steps and will also complete another 11 workout sessions (these will be devised by your trainer) per month.  Options are also available to see your personal trainer more often, for instance 4 or 8 times per month.

Why do PPT at the Fit Collective?

PPT is a unique concept we have brought to Chester.  Most gyms provide unlimited access to shared equipment and space where you come and go as you please. We know that this approach yields intermittent, low level results for most people.

So, instead, we combine working with a personal trainer and a safe space to workout when you aren’t with them.  The trainer helps to hold you accountable, and the requirement to book your sessions makes it far more likely you will attend (instead of just deciding to go later, and then tomorrow, which becomes the next day…).

These spaces provide you with all you need for your workout. No waiting around for kit (so you don’t end up not being able to do the workout designed or waste time), no gymtimidation (it’s a small space to yourself and just a few spaces in our studio) and a highly effective workout (you are taught how to use all the kit properly and with good form).

Your personalised training programme devised by your personal trainer to follow within your workout times, and an element of structure and accountability to get your workout done within your time slot provides you with more effective, efficient workouts.

Personal training sessions are 50 minutes and PPT workout sessions are 55 minutes.

Have you considered Small Group Personal Training?

If you feel like training and working within a group of likeminded people is going to help you attend more often and feel more motivated, then perhaps our SGPT (small group personal training) programme is more suitable. This programme combines the same level of support and guidance from a personal trainer dedicated to you, but you would attend group PT sessions of up to 8 people for your training sessions.  Please CLICK HERE to find out more about SGPT.
